Description
Chem Tools Galva Mask is a fast drying, special blend of solvent-based resins, formulated to withstand the high temperatures which occur during the galvanising process. It is an excellent masking agent for parts, threaded holes, and bolt threads, preventing zinc iron alloys from flowing over and sticking to a region of a structure which is about to be galvanised.
GalvaMask™ Masking Compound can be applied by dip or brush, and once cured will withstand acid or alkaline degreasing, including the entire pre-cleaning process which occurs prior to galvanising. Fully cured, it remains very flexible, and will not chip or crack on parts being moved to and from the galvanising plant.
