Description
Wurth Zinc Rich Weld Thru Primer contains 98-99% pure zinc. It protects steel by sacrificial or galvanic action. The inclusion of epoxy resins and special binders promotes good adhesion to clean metal surfaces.
When dry, it produces a tough semi flexible grey finish. It can be applied over rusted and pitted areas provided that all loose scale is removed.
The electrical conductivity of this primer is high and can be applied to metal interfaces prior to MIG or spot welding. The zinc melts and will fuse to the surface of the steel, reducing the formation of rust and rust creep.
