Description
Aluxcor Aluminium Brazing Rod is designed for low temperature joining of aluminium based metals. Typical aluminium braze alloys melt and flow very close to the base metal melting temperature. The Zinc/aluminium allow lowers operating temperature to reduce the possibility of overheating the aluminium part.
It can also be used to join aluminium to copper. For dissimilar metal applications the long term galvanic corrosion potential should be considered and a protective joint coating may be required.
